It is the fact that you don't feel alive only controlled beyond all the regular laws we have we have to contend with, add with it stupid laws of religion. Yes stupid ones. I had a blood issue once and said no to blood right up to the point of death, did anyone mention my name on the stage NO did my name get put in the magazines NO did anyone give me ataboys for standing fast almost to the point of death NO. Yes, Virginia there is something fishy in Denmark as there is something fishy with the Witness's.

Mental health issues

do you feel many dubs still in "the truth" have mental health issues but are afraid to seek treatment from a "worldly" psychologist or psychiatrist?.

Most certainly being a Jehovah's Witness I personally feel contributes greatly to mentally health issues. Anytime you can not have choices as an adult in world full of choices causes problems, even more so being a child in a would full of fun and laughter. Granted kids can not do everything they want, but they are only kids once, it is a wondrous time a time not to be thrown away.
I was raised a Witness too, I feel that most of my school years were years not of learning but of persecution. Why did I have to go through that. I could have excelled in many areas but because I was taught I had to basically hate my life in this world rather than enjoy what good things there is my life became down troden at a young age I was ageing before my time. I love my parents, but I did not love thier choices they made for me.

Giving up smoking..(again)

its one of the hardest things i have attempted to do......besides the patch (which i am starting) and antipressants is there any thing you have tryed or heard of?
i do want to give this habit up so much for myself and my family......anything would help.

I know its hard. One thing that helped me is to go some where that smokeing is going on and then come homme and see how much of it is still in your clothes, it stinks and if I go to bed with a tee shirt on that has smoke on it I will get a bad head ache.

Danceing, partying, observing the day I was born I am glad I was born, christmass I love pretty lights, I also enjoy drinking to excess at times, dateing a women before I marry her to see if I want to marry her I don't buy a car untill I test it out first, inviting large crowds to my house and having a party with beer and loud noise, wearing a beard, listioning to a diferent religions prayer at someones house, saluteing those who fight for our freedom. There is so much more......

by BLISSISIGNORANCE inwell, the best thing about being a fader is that you can still talk to dubs you meet.
they think they can us the contact to upbuild you and you use it to plant the seeds of 'truth' which is what i did in this situation.. last week when i was at the markets i saw a sister shopping and although i normally avoid dubs, i didn't this time.
i said hello and she was very happy to speak to me.
